This is an extraordinary piece, retaining about 70% of the Krebs-style factory protective lacquer that tends to yellow over time.  Blade is 34 inches long, and is in 99% mint condition.  I've taken pictures of the WORST part of the paint on the blade, so you can understand that the paint is truly 99%.  White felt buffer pad is present, scabbard throat is design proof-marked.  Grip is amazing, SS pommel nut shows 100% of the black color to the recesses.  Fittings are plated (99% of police officer swords are plated) and plating is 100%.  Sword is housed in a grey period sword bag.
