This outstanding specimen has survived the past 70 years in 99% mint condition. An early piece with solid nickel exterior parts. Leather on grip and scabbard is 98% and would improve to virtual perfection with blue leather preservative. Fittings are covered in lacquer and exposed portions have tarnished to a yellowish-color ... this piece is entirely uncleaned. Blade length is 31 inches, and plating is 99% perfect with ultra-tiny signs of age only at the very tip ... too hard to even photograph. I cannot stress enough that this piece would be very difficult to upgrade. Please note: I have taken photos of the WORST part of the leather on this piece, and the plated blade grades 98% mint.
