This is a well-preserved specimen that has seen almost no wear or age signs in over 90 years since construction!  Condition is MINT 96 (using the attached grading scale) with the following flaws.  Very light runner marks, visible only in certain lighting.  Some lacquer loss to the anodized scabbard.  One grip impact point, and ultra minor surface impacts.  One very tiny deep impact point (hard to really call it a "chip") plus some microscopic irregularities along the upper cross guard.  Otherwise, a stunning example!  Note: Please feel free to download and use the SA Grading System for your own personal needs.
