This exceptional artifact has not been in a collection, and was recently acquired in Germany.  This piece features 100% of the original leather with almost no wear.  Fittings show 75% or better silvering with factory protective lacquer.  Grip is nearly flawless.  Blade is exceptional, with 95% or better factor gold finish on the lettering, and on the later-period Eichorn “over the shoulder squirrel” logo.  If you want the best example on the planet, you might consider this one!
