The bayonet is the short model pattern. The blade features an etching with the inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" meaning "In Remembrance of My Service Time." The manufacturer mark "Solingen" is visible on the blade. Almost perfectly preserved. Really in 97% condition. One tiny paint scuff on the scabbard ball, and some age to the frog. Etch panel is well executed with 100% of the grey-matte "frosted" background finish intact, and 100% of the plating.
