Description
This set of restoration helmets was purchased out of storage in San Diego. Included are:
- M40 Single Decal Luftwaffe helmet with considerable rust, missing leather, but liner band intact. Surprisingly, 80% of the decal remains.
- M40 with pitting, painted black.
- M18 WW1 helmet with a lot of rust on it - this rust looks recent. Many of the "top" helmets in the stacks of helmets received recent rust, as they were removed from the inside of the house and stored in the garage.
- M42 "Q" shell.
Helmets might make a good restoration project for re-enactors, or even be great for creating retro motorcycle helmets! They've seen better days, but are cheap! Priced at silly-low prices to encourage bidding.
