Description

This is a World War 1 Iron Cross 1st Class.  Triple marked on the reverse of the cross, the "screw back" is actually a precision made slide-back system with a spring clip.  One of the most ornate versions of the cross I have encountered.  This is an exceptionally high quality cross with an innovative design - no wonder it is "DRGM" marked (patent protected).
