Description

This artifact is a Prussian General's dress uniform used by the Imperial German Army. The uniform features the standard blue tunic with red collar and cuffs, typical of Prussian general officers. It includes a reproduction breast star. The shoulder epaulettes and braided aiguillettes denote the general officer status. This uniform represents formal military attire worn by high-ranking officers in the German Empire before and during World War I.  Condition is outstanding and the uniform is of the highest possible quality.  All bullion insignia (collar and cuffs) are direct-embroidered with gold bullion, which has toned nicely over the decades.  This tunic is over 100 years old, and other than some minor age, doesn't show it!
