Description
Grouping of 'Sweetheart' items (also called Trench Art) dating from WWI to the 1970s. The miniature caps were often used as ash trays or powder compacts by girlfriends and wives. First is a British miniature cap with a collar badge "Egypt/ Royal Lincolnshire Regiment" under a sphinx mounted on the top, made from a 1977 dated 76mm shell casing. Second is a WWI US Army enlisted/NCO miniature cap made from a ----- shell. Third is a bomb with fins and fin protecting ring, for unknown use.
