Well-preserved specimen. Exterior shows almost no wear or age. Fittings are all plated type, and have 100% plating intact. Scabbard is anodized and retains 60% of the factory protective lacquer over 99% black finish. Grip is perfect, eagle and rune are perfectly inset, with some ultra minor flaking near the six o-clock position of the grip rune insignia. A tiny bit of the enamel is missing below the SS runes. Blade is 97% - near flawless. Screws unturned, pommel nut not marred. This is a top shelf example.
