A beautifully preserved specimen of the Heer (Army) Officer's dagger, complete with period grey wool storage bag. Dagger is manufactured by Eickhorn, and is in virtually flawless condition. Only detractions are some extremely minor (san sized) specks of corrosion - could be cleaned to virtually non-existent. 100% full cross-grain factory finish remains. Grip is what collectors call "Orange Juice" style ... the plastic used is almost translucent and has toned to a deep orange. Exterior fittings are 100% Eickrhorn and in unissued condition. Likely worn a short period before the war, then forgotten in the bag! The condition certainly shows.
