This was an extraordinary opportunity to handle one of the most intriguing daggers to survive the Third Reich period.  This one of only perhaps two SS Prototype daggers designed, but never implemented, to either replace the standard SS Dagger, or to act as a high-leader type dagger.  Truly one of a kind, if only they had adopted this dagger ... what an excellent collectible it would be in SS collections!  Please enjoy these pictures, taken by my photographer before the dagger was sold.  Please be advised this is not for sale.
