Description

Baroque silver plated tray with engraved "Deutsche Zeppelin Reederei G.m.b.h." (German Zeppelin Transport Company) and the III. Reich symbol of the company. Assumably a presentation piece rather than a tray that would have been on a Zeppelin, this is likely a fantasy piece. The abbreviation for a limited company is "G.m.b.H." rather than with the lower case 'h'. Still, the engraving is extremely well done, including that of the Zeppelin company logo.
