Description
Difficult to find example of the well known Nürnberg Eagle in desk statue size with silvered finish. The piece is maker marked on the reverse "H.B.", which was one of the handful of known manufacturers. Hollow metal construction with tiered brown marble base. The piece was broken and repaired across the wreath area as can be seen in the photos. A better repair might be possible, however the damage is not overly noticeable. Iconic piece.
