I rarely offer speculative pieces for sale at auction, but this one is deserving of your attention.  This two sided SS banner exhibits no signs of post-WWII manufacture.  The flag is constructed of very old silk, the white portions do NOT blacklight whatsoever, and the fringe while not the ultra-thick variety seen on known factory made trumpet banners from the period, is still very old.  Please keep in mind the speculative nature of this piece when bidding.  Priced at $95 accordingly, to encourage participation at every level, this should have no bearing on the actual hammer price. Certainly displays exceptionally well in a collection!
