Description

Helmeted Army Soldier Bust, artist marked by the well known sculptor Schmidt-Hofer. Hollow bust is likely produced of a zinc alloy with dark bronze finish. The WWI style Stahlhelm has been damaged at the crown and the relief Army eagle, representing a decal, has had the swastika removed as can be seen in the photos. The original base is no longer attached to the bust. The bust is approximately ---- in height.  Still displays well and with some work the condition could likely be improved.  About 11 inches tall.
