Waffenrock with matching trousers is a scarce example of a Army Administration High Grade Career officer of Hauptmann level rank. Tailor made tunic of brushed tricot wool with richly hand embroidered bullion collar tabs, cuff tabs, and eagle. The piping of the tabs and cuff tabs appears to be pink, which does not exactly match that of the underlay of the shoulderboards--it may be that the red of the tabs has faded. The Shoulderboards feature 2 gold pips and gold "HV" devices with double underlay of green and red. The lining is labeled by the Hamburg tailor "H. Oldevend" and features a deluxe hanger strap that can be adjusted for wearing a dress dagger or saber. The white removable maker marked collar liner is still present. There is a 7 award ribbon bar with Imperial and III. Reich awards and loops for 1 badge. There is a button sewn to the back of one sleeve just above the cuff for an unknown reason. The grey trousers are piped with the administration green to match the Waffenrock and still have a set of suspenders attached. The trousers show more wear than the tunic, with some frayed edges as can be seen in the photos, wear to the waist lining, some insect bites, and some replaced buttons (and might be missing some buttons). The Waffenrock has some small bites as shown in the photos and shows normal wear and age. Scarce rank to find!
