Police Officer's "Sommerfahrrock/Hausrock" (Patrol/Garrison Tunic), which was introduced in 1936, is correctly tailored of mottled Police twill with 8 button front, 4 pockets, and Rock back. Hand embroidered bullion collar tabs on green wool. Hand embroidered bullion eagle on mottled Police twill fabric hand stitched to sleeve. The tunic shows some wear and age sun fading and is in excellent condition. Please note that although the tunic is very well made, there are no markings on the interior, suggesting that this was made in the eastern territories and not through the German uniform system. Insignia also look newer than the jacket (still period) suggesting that the jacket may be re-badged. So please consider this when evaluating the jacket for purchase.
