Summer Auction 2021 (Archived #501222)

A textbook example of a full-inscription Rohm, by a seldom seen manufacturer of Rohm daggers.  Exterior features solid nickel fittings that show an even patina.  Scabbard ball is undamaged, and screws show no damage from removal.  Grip is perfect except for one small crack on the reverse, extending from the lower cross guard about 1/2 inch, and has a thin coat of factory lacquer on it.  Blade shows minor age, but looks quite nice (better than the photos).  Obverse motto and reverse Rohm inscription are equally deep and show matching color, and comform to originality specifications of the Rohm etch.  Overall, a fine quality specimen.
