Description
Rare Reichs level Type 4 Political Leader visor cap with unusual "AO" marked sweat diamond. The cap is constructed of a fine gaberdine wool with velvet cap band and golden yellow wool piping. Brown visor and golden chin cords. The eagle retains nearly all of its bright golden finish; the wreath shows greying. Leather sweatband shows rubbing to its finish and a small tear near one of the ends of the visor. Golden artificial silk lining with celluloid sweat diamond with "AO" (for Auslandsorganisation) and "England". Seldom encountered visor cap!
