Description
Clean example of the high quality white topped Luftwaffe officer's visor cap by Erel. The top is constructed of waffle pattern cotton with a hand embroidered bullion removable eagle. Vented hand embroidered bullion winged wreath as well. The interior is lined with artificial silk which shows age and use. The "Verkaufs Abteilung der Luftwaffe" wording beneath the sweat shield shows some loss of the letter embossing. Sweat band shows cracking between the ventilation holes and is correctly stamped with the Erel "Stirndruck" marking. Excellent summer visor!
