Outstanding quality wool tricot tunic and breeches for a Luftwaffe Generalmajor. The set is in near mint condition showing only very minor use and age. The eagle is tightly hand embroidered gilt bullion with several different types of bullion. Collar tabs are also hand embroidered of gilt bullion, and the shoulder boards are made of metallic gilt and silver cording. There is a 1939 Spange to the 1914 Iron Cross II class in the buttonhole. A rare gilt metallic General's aiguillette is buttoned under the shoulder board. Also present is a cross body under-the-tunic sword and dagger hanger as well as a quality set of 2nd type Luftwaffe dagger hangers. There are loops for multiple badges on both left and right breast pockets. The breeches are also in near mint condition of matching wool tricot fabric and with the correct smooth white side stripes and piping. The calves are fitted with eyelets for lacing, and there are waist adjustment tabs and an interior buttoned lining tab for better fitting. Tunic and breeches are unnamed and don't appear to have ever had a tailor's label. An impressive uniform set!
