Description
Prussian Line Infantry Officers Helmet Model 1897. Black lacquered leather helmet body with gilded brass trim. Leather helmet body has fine form and firm stitching. Metal trim has bright gilded finish. Officer round base with spike top. Inside has leather sweat leather and silk headliner. Interior visors colored red and green that is proper for officers helmet. Helmet interior shows almost no wear and is complete. No markings inside helmet body. Prussian Officer Frontplate held screw retainers. Flat officer style gold chinscales for non-mounted troops. Original Officer Reich and Prussian 2 piece cockades. Nice original helmet.
