Prewar 4 pocket Unteroffizier of Flight Luftwaffe tunic is constructed of early quality blue grey wool with early down-tailed breast eagle and correct yellow piped collar, yellow tabs and shoulder strap piping, and bright Tresse. The lining is early cotton blend and it's stamped with the sizes and issue date of 1937. Unit stamp is also present indicating the tunic was issued to the Technical Company of the Air Base Command Schönwalde. The condition of the tunic is excellent, showing only normal minor use and age. Mounted to one shoulder strap button is an Army Marksmanship Lanyard with 3 golden acorns (Grade 12), which is the highest level awarded. Someone, probably long ago, has removed the Army lanyard badge and replaced it with a Luftwaffe version to display with the tunic. Because of the high level of the award, it should be removed from the tunic and the Luftwaffe badge replaced with the correct high grade Army type. The lanyard is included with the tunic.
