Schupo Tschako with police green wool covered body, dual screened vents, special officer's eagle and bullion cockade. The pebbled aluminum chin scales retain the loop on the (wearer's) left side boss that would have been used to secure the plume tip (no plume included). The patent leather finish is in fine condition. The interior retains its padded leather sweatband with size 55 1/2 stamping. The leather shows soiling from being worn. The imitation silk portion of the lining is no longer present, although some of its broken threads are still in place at the top edge of the sweatband. Overall the helmet is in excellent, condition with the exception of the missing upper lining material.
