A lot consisting of 3 ski related badges.  First is a rare example of the special late war Army Ski Jäger sleeve insignia. Most collectors interested in Ski Jäger related items had thought, due to the late war 1945 institution of the badge, that none had ever actually been produced.  It appears very few were ever actually put into the hands of the Ski Jägers, but more recently a machine woven example surfaced with provenance. A small number of machine embroidered examples (less than 30) were later found in a factory in Germany a few years ago. Most, if not all, were mothed and insect damaged to a greater or lesser extent. This insignia is likley not one of those found since it shows no damage, however stitch by stitch the machine embroidery is an exact match to the badges found. While not accepted by some collectors as original, many do, based on the examples found. This is an unissued, unworn example that shows age but no damage. The next item is a rare Ski Jäger cap badge. Die struck metal construction with the correct details and correct integral metal prongs. No damage, no markings (none of the original badges is maker marked), and the insignia shows age and handling only. Lastly is a metal and enamel quality Day Badge (a.k.a. tinnie) produced for the German and Army and SA and SS Ski Championship held at Berchtesgaden in 1934. This was the first ever German championship contest held. The badge enameling is in fine condition and the original pin and maker marked pin plate is still present.
