Description
Specially designed binoculars by Zeiss manufactured specifically for U-Boat use, this pair retains its original rubber protective fittings, rubber eye covers, and the rare 'Benutzer'. The leather chinstrap is broken. Rubber shows cracking as can be seen in the images. This binocular model was issued without an individual case--they were shipped in larger cases holding 10 glasses. True U-Boat binoculars are very difficult to find in the marketplace and are often missing at least some of their rubber fittings. This example is in very fine condition and is basically complete.
