Description

Bakelite pole top for the Tradition Flags of the NS-Reichskriegerbund shows use, age, and some cracking to the pole cup area, which is common to this type of pole top. 'Symbol wird Waffe' wording ('symbol becomes weapon') represents the fact that the metal pole tops for this veteran's group were turned in to be melted down for the war effort in 1940 and were replaced by these bakelite examples.
