German WWII M42 combat helmet with stamped ventilation holes and a raw edge rim characteristic of the 1942 pattern. The helmet displays a single Heer branch decal on the left side, depicting the black and white eagle clutching a swastika within a shield. Constructed of stamped steel with a textured dark field-gray finish, the helmet retains its original leather chinstrap secured by steel rivets. Interior lining is well preserved and size marked 56.
