Black lacquered leather helmet with fire gilt trim. Helmet body has fine form. Exterior lacquer is in excellent condition with no lacquer loss. No extra holes in helmet body. Officer style Prussian Reserve eagle without banner. On the breast of the eagle is a silver star with the arms of Saxon Thuringian and on the tail a small silver reserve cross on which is the banner “Mit Gott fur Furst und Vaterland”. Fire gilded Officer style spike and base that is held to body with 4 stars. Interior of helmet has Officer style sweat leather and silk headliner in near excellent condition. Flat gilded chinscales on rosettes. Two-Piece Reichs and green and white Saxon Thuringian Officer cockades. Helmet has not been cleaned or polished.   Very rare Regiment.
