Description

German WWII Infantry Assault Badge in silver featuring a detailed oak leaf wreath surrounding a Mauser rifle with fixed bayonet beneath a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika. Accompanied by a black Wound Badge in oval form with a helmet over two crossed swords, both badges are typical awards for combat service and wounds sustained. The Infantry Assault Badge was awarded to infantry troops who participated in assaults, while the Wound Badge recognized soldiers wounded in action.
