German WWII Luftwaffe EM/NCO white topped visor cap in a lightweight, off-white cotton pikee fabric designed for summer use in warm climates. High quality deluxe removable top visor cap distributed by "Spezialhaus Globus" in Nürnberg.  Features black wool mohair band with yellow piping denoting service with the flying personnel branch. The cap is fitted with the standard metal Luftwaffe silver bullion eagle and oak leaf winged wreath and cockade insignia on the front. The interior has a leather sweatband and a green visor underside, consistent with Luftwaffe production. There is usually a thin cotton non-removable lining with sweatshield attached to the cap frame.  This example does not have one but may have been tailored without one. Excellent quality summer cap.
