Description

This is WWII German Luftwaffe Officer's Dress Sword, known as a Fliegerschwert. The blade bears the SMF marker's mark denoting production by Solinger Metallwarenfabrik Stöcker & Co. The sword retains its original leather wrapped scabbard and leather frog. The hilt and pommel exhibit an attractive patina consistent with its age. A fine example of a desirable Luftwaffe dress sword.
