This is a reproduction of the Coburg Badge used by the Sturmabteilung (SA), the paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party. It is a combat recognition badge awarded for participation in the Coburg street fighting in 1931. The badge features a vertical sword over a swastika, surrounded by a wreath with the inscription "Mit Hitlers SA In Coburg 1922 1931." This version is a reproduction and not an original wartime piece. The Coburg Badge was one of the earliest awards of the Nazi Party and symbolizes early SA combat engagement.
