This object is a metal flag poll top used by the Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation (NSBO). The NSBO was the National Socialist Factory Cell Organization in Nazi Germany. The finial features a clenched fist holding a hammer topped with a swastika and the letters "NSBO". This artifact served as a symbolic emblem representing workers under the NSBO during the Third Reich. It was used primarily in the 1930s as an insignia on flags or banners within the organization. Heavy brass construction, some wear to the finish.
