This quality example survives in near mint condition with only slight signs of wear.  Scabbard has a blued finish (as opposed to the more commonly seen painted finish).  Plated blade retains 98% of the factory plated finish with only minor disruptions in areas (very hard to photograph these flaws).  Complete with knot and frog.  Of note on this example is the period application of a Wehrmacht eagle.  Not a factory upgrade, but most likely added by the soldier at some point.
