Very fine quality dagger produced by the Holler firm.  This was Holler's effort at producing the Water Protection Police dagger.  Eickhorn and Alcoso used a leather covered grip.  Holler chose to use leftover blue/black grips that had previously been used on Weimar era navy daggers.  This is a scarce manufacturer for this dagger type.  Grip is in outstanding condition, and ball-pommel shows outstanding detail.  Exterior brass fittings show minor wear and consistent finish.  Blade shows cleaning, with the factory etch still plainly visible on both sides. Hangers are heavy brass, in great shape. Please note: there is a tiny bit of sharpening on the tip of this dagger.  It is full length, but under close view (and in the close-up photo above), you can see the extent of this.
