This is a combat helmet used by the Imperial Japanese Navy. The helmet features the anchor insignia painted on, identifying it with the Japanese naval forces. It is a standard steel helmet type worn by Japanese sailors and naval infantry during World War II. Liner is intact, shows wear and some age. Chinstrap is included.
