This is an M43 field cap used by the German Afrika Corps during World War II. Features the Wehrmacht eagle and national cockade insignia on the front. Interior is the more scarce green lining versus the more common red lining.  Marked 1942 (the date) and Franz Ritter (the producer) with a size of 56.
