These are shoulderboards used by the Waffen-SS Panzer troops. They represent the rank of Unterscharführer, equivalent to a junior non-commissioned officer or Sergeant. Pink piping (faded to a salmon) is the correct nylon weave, not the less-desirable but still original wool style. Slip ons. Never around when you need a pair, these are an excellent set of boards for collection or for placement on an SS wrapper or combat uniform.
