Third Reich Police dress bayonet used during the Nazi era. It is a standard pattern police bayonet featuring a stag horn grip with an embedded Nazi eagle and swastika emblem. The bayonet has matching serial numbers stamped on the crossguard and scabbard throat, identifying it as a complete set. Condition is outstanding, with no damage and only minor signs of age and wear.  These often have little pock marks on the back of the handle from being used as hammers for posting police notices.  This one has no such markings.
