This artifact is a reproduction Feldherrnhalle gorget used by the SA Guard Battalion Feldnhernhalle. Very high quality reproduction, possibly featuring original backplate.  The piece is marked with the maker's name, "Kraas Berlin."  The SA “Feldherrnhalle” unit was an elite formation within the Sturmabteilung, named after the Feldherrnhalle in Munich, a site tied to Nazi martyr symbolism from the Beer Hall Putsch. Members were typically selected for their loyalty and ideological reliability, giving the unit a prestige status beyond ordinary SA formations. After the SA’s decline following the Night of the Long Knives, the “Feldherrnhalle” name was retained and carried over into Wehrmacht units, where it continued to signify elite standing and political symbolism.
