SS Panzer M43 cap, The open bill featuring a pressboard finish, grey herringbone interior and late-war "skull and eagle" trapesoid are typical of late-war "Dachau" production, as many were found after the war unissued in the storehouses of the SS cloth factory located there.  Produced by camp inmates, this cap represents an important historical testimony to the use of slave labor to feed the uniform needs of the Reich.  Unissued MINT, size stamped in a larger size than usually found.
