This is a tunic worn by a Waffen SS Infantry First Lieutenant. The tunic is a standard SS officer pattern with identifiable collar tabs and shoulder boards indicating rank. It features the SS eagle insignia on the chest and the SS runes on the collar. This uniform was used during World War II as part of SS officer dress.  Size is about a 38S (United States).  No moth damage, a few very minor stains (one on the interior of the right sleeve).  Interior shows tailor label, but no name tag (it was removed).  Rank is for a 1st LT, but the "Litzen" on the rank collar tab is missing.  There is spacing for it, indicating it was probably added as a field-promotion, but fell off at some point in time.  Pieces of Litzen are available for purchase on other websites, and could be installed to complete this piece.
