This artifact is a Waffen-SS cuff title inscribed with the name "Götz von Berlichingen." BeVo material, embroidered lettering on a black woven background with a white border. Uniform removed. The "Götz von Berlichingen" cuff title was used by the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division, named after the German knight and mercenary of the 16th century. This piece is actually blood-stained, and is a sharp reminder of the violence of WW2.
