Well-preserved specimen of a straight sword (degen) worn by an NCO in the SS. Overall length is 41 inches. Blade is nearly flawless, paint is 100% present with minor paint crazing and some slight rusting. Fittings are plated, and retain most plating with minor, consistent surface disruptions throughout. Pommel nut is cast with the SS Rune symbol. White buffer pad may be a replacement (a very small discrepancy, these can be found at Militaria shows for $50). Manufacturer is Hermann Rath.
