Maker marked "Extra Klasse" and "Marke Standard", indicating the cap was made by J.C. Kornacker of Hildesheim. The ersatz leather sweatband, finely pleated side linings, zig-zag stitching ending to the rear of the visor corners, as well as the logo are typical features of this maker.  Hand embroidered bullion eagle may have been resewn or replaced, as it's not sewn on straight. Aluminum piping is the subdued war type. Underside of the visor is not the typical green color but is an off-white or light ecru color which is sometimes seen. Fine example with a great saddle shape!
