With an overall length of 35 inches, this Navy Sword from the Third Reich era features all brass fittings to the exterior, which retain about 50% of the factory fire gold finish.  Leather scabbard has some age and "warping" to the scabbard body, but is fully intact.  The staple holding the lower scabbard fitting is missing, but the fitting is fully fitted in place and not loose.  Scabbard fittings are numbered.  Celluloid grip has 3 hairline cracks, but all plastic is intact.  Grip wire is loose in one place, but also fully intact.  Eyes to the lion head hilt are the non-jeweled variety.  Reverse upper scabbard fitting is marked "0.1703" on the face.  Blade shows greying and is the plain type.  No nicks to the edge, and tip features a factory-sharp tip.
