Tunic was worn by a captain of engineers. Fine quality wool twill with polished cotton lining. Shoulder bars are dark with silver toning. Period Engineer castles and 3rd Army shoulder patch.  Sharpshooter cross above left pocket. One button is missing, wear to lining with a hole to the collar lining, and there is some soiling and insect damage as may be seen in the photos. What looks like a museum inventory tag is attached.
