Description
Lot consists of 2 edged weapons. HJ knife is marked RZM M7/56 1940, indicating the maker was C.D. Schaaf in Solingen. The blade is grey adn shows use and normal age. Grip plates, HJ Diamond, and rivets are undamaged. Wear to the plating. Scabbard is original and retains its leather straps; scabbard paint is worn off. Leather blade spacer is still present. The second piece is a utility/fighting knife (Kampfmesser). At some point someone installed an enameled HJ grip diamond into the handle. Blade shows use but no damage. Metal scabbard with top edge clip for securing to tunic or boot shaft. It is marked with a "W". Interesting set!
